Three slices of toast

Mother makes tasty toast in a small pan. After toasting one side of a slice, she turns it over. Each side takes 30 seconds.

The pan can only hold two slices. How can she toast both sides of three slices in one and half instead of 2 minutes?

First you toast one side of two slices. Then you switch one slice (toasting the first side of a third slice), while finishing the second slice. Then you finish both the remaining slices(the first and the third one) and voila! Breakfast is served.
